In an earlier form Full Wave Breathing was called the Transformational Breath and was developed by the International Breath Institute in 1991. It was named that because resulted in rapid changes in people’s states of health.

We found, however, that the name was off-putting to some people who otherwise might benefit from the knowledge and use of it. So IBI renamed the breathing and called it Transform Breathing.
