About the Institute

IBI was founded in 1991 to provide holistic instruction, products and services to proactive, health conscious individuals. The International Breath Institute teaches people the keys to wellness in body, mind and spirit through Full Wave Breathing and its awareness expanding programs. Methods are safe, natural, simple to use, self-empowering, and easy to perform.

The vision of IBI began back in the late 1970's when Managing Director and Co-founder Tom Goode was diagnosed with a degenerative disease. Tom began a new phase of life then learning all he could about natural healing methods and breathwork. This learning became the basis of IBI and its attempts to teach people about their first, most valuable step in enhancing health and preventing premature aging - breathing.

    Tom and Caron are the authors of seven books, several monographs, and numerous articles for magazines. Experienced seminar and workshop leaders, both Caron and Tom invite inquiries from the media.
